Mixer setup/ program setting

If i set my Mixer to Drum the programs will load right when I load the seq, but the APS wont save the mixer settings, but if I change the Mixer setting to programs the APS will save the mixer setup but the SEQ wont load with the right drum settings am I doing something wrong

im confused by your question and i dont even know if this will help, but when I save I save
- ALL SEQUENCES AND SONG
- SAVE A PROGRAM AND SOUNDS

then when i want to load back up, i load the .PGM and .ALL file. everything loads perfect including mixer settings.
