Bugs in 4.25/4.26

I've had the same problem.

When I convert Song to Sequence, I get thing messed up in the step edit just like FLOOD described.

001.01.00
001.04.48 <-- the sequence stops playing here, but counter keeps running.
001.02.00
001.03.00
001.04.00
001.04.48

I have tried the same thing on OS 1.07 but with no luck.
This bug is still there in 1.07.

Hmm. Sounds like it's not JJ's fault if it's been there since Akai 1.07. Does it happen in Akai 2.1 as well?

the bug was too much, I switched to 4.21 and reported it to JJ.

So now my sampler works...except it went completely crazy and sprayed random notes everywhere. Like some kind of frat boy on their 25 beer.

and it can mess up the other tracks in the seq. and undo does not fix the problem.
i also suspect midi grid edit to sometimes mess up the sequence. not 100% sure though.

Does this happen all the time? i havent loaded up 4.25 or 4.26 yet, but i wanna finish a beat and i do use step edit alot. Ima try it out later but feel free to respond

not all the time. quite rarely actually, thats why it is difficult to correct.
and it was already in 2.1 (when the MOVE function was first introduced)

Ive actually recorded my old mpc(2000) when it did that b4 and it made an ill outro.
