How do i track audio from my MPC to my DAW

I have a firebox.. and a mpc... can someone please list how my connections should be and how I would be able to record audio from the mpc to fruity loops? I've been tryin to figure this out for a while now with no success..

I know what FL(fruity loops) is. It is geared more towards Software Music Production. Yes u can record in fruity loop but its not an actual Recording Software. Actual recording software, that is software for recording primarly audio would be Cubase, Nuendo, Protools, ect.. just to name a few.

Basically my point is use a software that is geared more towards audio recording. It is going to allow you alot more control/features.

ive never used the others, what kind of features do they have that fl doesnt? (genuine curiosity)

i must jump out to fl defense, its a great sampler/wav editor as long as u make ur samples unique in the tracker and resample any effects u use for them ur set,save all ur original sounds as well

im not sure which version any of you all are talking about. but i create entire tracks in fl studio. meaning i create the drum patterns, melodies and basslines, and record vocals. it is much more than a sampler or wav editor, and i just dont know how it is possible to do this if its not an audio recording program. i can track the 4 outs of my 1k, and my vox at the same time while a vst bassline playing and automation on any parameter is triggered.

naugie, you 100% right with your statement, but get a little deeper into fl and check out the other features.

FL should not be slept on..

while i agree the DAWs are more 'complete' because they are dedicated, but FL is capable of handling tracking..
