How do i sample records?? And what else should i get?

How do i sample records?? And what else should i get?

ok im about to invest in the MPC1000 i have had my eyes on it for a while what else should i get with it?? i was advised keyboards from my friend who produces. and then i was also told sampling how do you do this i have seen a video but how do you get the record on the mpc??? help please and in general what else should i get with the MPC1000 when i get it???

and yes i searched in the search and nothing came back for what i was looking for. so please help

I def recommend u cop Tutor's MPC1k Ebook def has some nice things in it that will help you out.

If you plan on sampling then u will need a turntable and some records. If you will do some composing here and there then u should look into an keyboard or an midi controller/sound module combination.

ok ok. um how do you connect the turntable to the MCP1000?? and thanksill check those out and how do i read the tutorials on my comp. sorry im a newb and dont know much yet...

Depending on the TT u get you will need to connect it to an dj mixer, mixer, or preamp if it doesnt already have an preamp built inside of it. Once its connected to the dj mixer, mixer, or preamp u then run the outs from which ever u choose to use to the RECORD IN on the back of the MPC. This all will make more sense to you if you have the MPC actually in front of you so you can apply what you are learning. But um ne ways Tutor's Ebook isnt FREE but is well worth the money and can be reviewed/purchased below.
