MPC 1000 uses Midi Clock(page 91 of the Manual), not MTC. Time to refill your water gun.

The answer is No, it only does MTC.
And the MPC1000 does MIDI Clock only.
So if the question is "can I simply sync them together", the answer is no.
I would have thought you could set Audition up as the master, since it can display in Bars&Beats, but no...
