SOMEONE MAKE A VIDEO!!!

My biggest problem....
Sampling. Lol and i am a sample based producer with FL Studio...

Anyways I really need some help i would apperciate if someone makes a video on pretty much the basic steps to sampling and make the sample fit the sequence...and timestretching and chopping....thats were im screwing up at....were i chop samples and it either it stops early or it cuts it off...

dog, you cant think of the mpc like fl studio. where you can stretch the sample to the tempo in fl, you have to do the opposite in the mpc. what i do is this. if i have a simple loop or sample that i want to play for 4 bars, i load the sample, tune it to how i like it, and and then play and adjust the tempo until it loops how i want it to. fl is a computer program that makes things a lot easier. with the click of the mouse. the mpc is a little more work, but a lot more satisfying. if thats not what your trying to do, let me know and i will try to walk you through. if i know how.

what i am trying to do is basic....timestretch the tempo....chop it up and reorganize it to play and record back perfectly looped...and ive never gotten enuff help to get me anywhere..

i only find the basic videos of some dude makin a beat...i wanna actually learn something with it...a full video on what im tryin to do thats very simple

he's talking about slicing up a loop and having it automaticly play in your sequence, that's a feature that i've requested from jj, it doesn't make sense to be able to chop up a loop and get your slices just right and then not be able to just turn that into a sequence.

in the mean time what you need to do is just slice your sample up, edit all the slices so that they're accurate and then manually trigger them in the sequence when you want them to play.

it's much easier than everyone makes it out to be.

YES you will have to get off .00, .24, .48, .72

YES you will be nudging notes by tiny increments in step edit

and YES your final sequence will be maybe several bpms faster than the original sample.

dude, you gotta make it work.

there is no magic formula.

if you really know FL, then stay with it. Because MPC's are alot more limited, and you have to do things based on what you hear, rather than what you see.
