Ok, I have the MPC60 3.10e OS. This has to be the craziest thing ever. I'm booting up the MPC60 and I have a beat that I already made loaded in the sequencer. I want to do an overdub so I first press the Count In button. Then I press the overdub and the Play Start button and I do not hear the metronome during the count in or while the sequencer is running. I hit the Other button and the Metronome Volume is set to 12, Count in: Rec only, In play: No. Am I missing something? Is there another place in the OS to control the Metronome volume? Nothing is plugged into the Metro Out in the back of the unit, fyi. Thanks everybody.

How are your outputs set up? Metronome only comes out of the stereo mix, so if you're using the 8 outs it won't work.

Other than that i can't think why it wouldn't work. Good luck!

i use the headphone out jack to my altec lansing PC speakers, sounds A LOT louder than the stereo outs.

i kinda have this problem in reverse: i can't set the metronome to play on record in only, it continues to play after that even though i've set it to play on record in only. possibly cuz i'm using the headphone jack?
