Imagine JJ created a new windows/mac app that would let us create programs and edit other functions, who knows what. Like a new pimped out blue box that would apply to all the new features in the jj OS. Blue box runs kinda sketchy on my computer it never seemed very stable, i think it would be a great idea to design a new application.

anybody with me?

oh yeah... it seems that bluebox f----s programs up... like it makes the midi dispositon all one note.

we do need an update on some type of computer program editor. something that is relevent to all the insane new features we have!

Indeed. Programming under a full-blwon OS is another matter entirely. One could also try to make something in Java... that way it would be cross-platform too!

what would be cool is if we come hook up the mpc to the computer and drag n drop samples on the pads n blue box and be able to play em on the mpcs pads...then save a program....in real time

impossible with mpc's usb.. it could be possible by using both usb and midi, but thats another story and nightmare for programmer i think.

id like to see the structure of pgm's so does anybody know a program for windows or linux which is able to open .pgm's in text-mode? notepad doesn't work: * MPC1000 PGM 1.00 H001 d d ...
