so far its ok, i havent done much with it yet..

i wish it had filters tho..i got to get a s950..

i thoughht so too, but after using it for awhile, i dont miss the filters at all. there is an echo send/return in the back. you can hook up some filters better than stock akai ones.

first of all, this thread is dope, thanks for sharing EMFinite, i can't wait for the pics, since i am going to paint my mpc , too.
can anybody confirm that it was a good idea to paint the rubber pads?
the fact that, i somehow, don't want to paint my 16's, doesn't speed up my decision on the colors for the paint job.

im not painting my pads..

in fact i threw the pads that came with my 60 away.. cuz them shhts were disgusting.. whoever this dude was that owned this mpc, does not know how to take care of gear.. it was in shtty condition..

im buying another set of pads.. i wanted black, but theyre out of stock over at vst. i wish i knew another place that carries mpc parts..

yea i see what the deal. but, anybody did a paint job on the rubber pads and it came out good?, i mean reliable?
i am totally ok with painting plastic parts, but i dont wanna loose the feel of the crack pads^^

i wouldn't recommend painting the pads. you can get vinyl dye though, which may work. get in touch with a custom car interior specialist near you, as they'd have something you could use.

yea i will try to find out. i would not forgive myself, in case i ruin my pads.
the mpc is used. but the pads are new, so i want to make sure it works out.
but painting the pads doesn't seem right. maybe i should just arrange the colors around the grey pads. what the **** was i thinking anyway

buy the ones that are really fockd up, paint the other ones.
keep ALL replacement parts. never throw away!, unless its broken for real...you never know!
slap mfkers with dick instead.
