b: SCSI

the point is that I don't understand which option in SAVE should I chose. Type: Save all sequences & songs
Type: Save a sequnce
etc.....

which of those options would allow me to save a file in format (for example WAV) that is avalible for CUBASE. AND I dont mean MIDI.

thanks for help and sorry for stupid questions and ,perhaps bad language

if it don,t work out with storage devices, connect the midi outs of your mpc to the pc and record the midi tracks in the sequencer your working with.

get 16 floppys and tranfer each chop on a floppy disk into the mpc. make sure there 720k floppys or itll explode

2k/2kxl cannot save an entire song to wav.

Only samples, not the entire song.

SEQ = mpc only readable file.
APS = mpc only readable file.
MID = universal midi file, can be loaded into other seqr's.

Dude, I don't think u understand what the mpc does. It only sequences beats but has no way of recording them. You need to hook the stereo out of your MPC into stereo in on a PC AUDIO INTERFACE. Then using Logic, Cubase, or any DAW, record your sequence that the MPC plays back.

I cant remember the name of the function, but there's a function to turn the entire song into a single sequence. Save that as a .MID. You should be able to load that into cubase.
