(((MPC w/ the ASR-10 keyboard)))

I was wondering what kind of setup would be good with combinig these two monsters? I know some people sequence through the MPC and sample with the ASR but I was wondering what other setups I could use. I'll take all the feedback I could get. Thanks.

i wanna hear what the mpc massive has to say on this too..

i use the asr for sampling and the 2kxl for sequencing. i use the asr keys for the samples and basslines. and the mpc pads for the drums. using the mpc as a asr midi controller. thats porbably the best and one of the couple ways to do it ... unless there something im missing. there really isnt too many other ways to combine these 2 machines.

How exactly do you set that up? Are you going midi in and midi out on the MPC and ASR?
