question about the mpc 2000 xl and loading samples

question about the mpc 2000 xl and loading samples

ok so i have my zip drive hooked up to the mpc and everything but when im in the loading screen when i try to change my device from floppy to scsi it says Wait.. and it freezes up.. can somebody help me with this problem?

Check your scsi id numbers. The 2kxl is #6 says the manual.

Your zip is scsi I assume.

whenever i have a problem with a drive freezing up on me, i turn it off and back on again and it should at least unfreeze. then exit the DISK screen and come back and try again.

ya ive tried that a few times and it still freezes
