Big Problem

i got my mpc since 8 months and today for the first time i got the ****
system test message(got 1.22 os inside)i try to hold on erase when i turn
on the mpc,but nothing happen.I try to hold on windows button when i turn
on the mpc,it write don't found os when i try with akai cf.And when i try with my new scandisk 512 cf,it say,wrong card.I know many people have
this problem sometimes ago,i've read many post but i found no answer to
my problem.Someone can help me,pleaz.

only the Akai card will work, try writing a new copy of the OS to the card and try again.

how?i got no control,i can do anything.

You will need a card reader for your pc and copy the OS onto the card using that. Sadly if you don't have a card reader you'd have to buy one (unless you know someone with one you can borrow) but on the plus side you can get a usb one for next to nothing these days (£5 here so ~$10), also it'd be usb 2.0 so you can dump loads of samples to cards far far quicker than transfer it via the usb on the mpc so it's a worthwhile investment anyway.

Obviously I can't guarentee this will fix it but it's the first thing I'd try...so best of luck to you and I hope you get it fixed.

can you still access the memory card via USB connecction perhaps?

there's no access,maybe the card reader,but i don't know what is it and
where i can buy this,and if it's sure.The mpc2500 have so much prob,always another problem,i regret to has buy this shit.When i got enuff
money i buy the 4000 plus or last 2000xl.

Damn,when akai drop a new os?and this time one good os!!it's a shame.
