its not THAT big of a deal... but might as well put it out there
say you're in grid edit.. you have a 4 bar sequence.. you play a 2 bar drum pattern (this is just as an example)...
you want to copy bar 1 and 2, to bar 3 and 4. you highlight 1/2 and copy/paste them over to 3/4... works fine..
go back to main screen..
now the sequence is a 5 bar sequence.
and i'm NOT copying the begining of the 3rd bar or anything
