EB16 output stereo only?

I'm working with the 8 outs on my MPC and the problem I'm having is I run my kickdrums through out 1 mono, I got my snares running out of out 2, also mono. When I assign effects to my kick drum program in the effects mixer screen It only gives me the option of sending the effects out Stereo, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 ect.. All I want is to send it to out 1 without the 2 but that dosn't seem like an option. Is it possible to send the effects out mono? In other words when I put some eq and filter on the kick, it also plays through out 2 into my snare track. Any helps appreciated.

Thanks for the speedy response. The sample is mono, proof=in the program screen when I highlight the sound and hit open screen it says mono on bottom left so I know its mono for sure, all my kicks are mono samples. The manual still left me confused wich is why I asked. I'm able to send the kicks through individual out 1 (if it was stereo sample it would only let me pick 1/2) but the FX send wont let me do that even though the samples mono.

yeh im pretty sure the fx output is stereo, so even if you feed a mono sample in it comes out stereo, try hard panning M1's fx chain. you will find when assigning mono sounds to the 8 outs you can asssign it to 1,2,3,4 etc, instead of 1&2,3&4,...

Word I'll give that hard pan a try, I would have never thought of that...thx for the info
