I have the M-Audio Oxygen 8 v2 midi keyboard and a 1000 with 2.1. I think I understand which functions I can assign to the knobs and controllers on the keyboard (which from what I gather, is basically record, play, stop and a few others, unless I'm wrong and didn't read the manual right.)

There are 28 keys on the keyboard. When I look at which pad they are assigned to on the MPC (After connecting the midi cable), I noticed that the configuration seems kind of random. I'd really like it if I could program the keys to specific pads (for example, program the keys sequentially so that pad banks C-D are assigned to the keys, that way I can leave A and B for other non-keyboard samples like chops and etc. Is this possible?

you can go to midi/sync MODE and manually change the note arrangement on each pad, or i can send you the pgm that does it for you. you just gotta load it everytime or put it in your autoload folder on your HD/CF card.
