I just did the set up with the sync. of pro-tools(7.3/digi 002), and mpc 2000xl. The set up works but I cant get it to record. Where do I need to go within pro-tool to solve this problem.

and I guess if you like everything laid down you wouldnt necessarily need to save with the mpc or any sound modules. although it would be smart for backups and mixing.... 8)

i have pro tools 6.4 and on the step two i think it says drop down to generic mmc but my pro tools only has mtc can you help me on that?

yep, this is true. I never save sh*t on the MPC or modules, i just track it out.

Same here....I save everything I do on my Triton Studio cuz it has an internal hard drive but as for the MPC, I have never saved any of my beats....Just track out and save!!!!

i have all my stuff synced up and i was wondering wy does protools cut off the beggining of the beat? is there a setting where it records the very beggining and not skip it?

Did you set your Pre-Roll to lke 1 bar or 2 bars?

and on step two under the protools setup it says drop down to mmc but mine only has mtc what do i do?
