Since loading a bunch of downloads from mpc-samples.com, I've had an annoying issue with my HD. When loading or saving to the HD, the directory will suddenly appear as if nothing but 3 or 4 files exist. I figured out a temporary remedy: if I switch over to the memory card or internal memory, and switch right back to HD, all my folders and programs are there as they should be. However, the problem keeps returning. It's not really keeping me from accomplishing anything, but it's slowing me down, it's annoying, and I want to find out if it's a sign of bad things to come.

Anyone had this issue? Your insight are appreciated.

...sometimes when i insert a cf card (kingston 512mb) it shows up with an empty root directory. i also have to switch to hdd or internal and back to the cf card to see the content. this happens very occasionally and i don´t think i lost any file this way, so it´s just a minor annoyance, adding up to the other little glitches that we are waiting for a year to be fixed now - akai are you listening? or are you to busy making products nobody asked for, instead of fixing the ones that are out here to make music?

I've had this happen too. It seemed to happen whenever I tried to access a particular file. I deleted that file, and that seemed to fix it. I guess the file was corrupted cause my computer couldn't read it either. I have some other hard drive glitches though...
