Tap Tempo?

Tap Tempo?

Does Tap Tempo not work in JJ OS for the MPC 25000?
I can't seem to get it to work.
Do I now have to go to a different screen?

turn it on and set the average with mode + pad 10 and then f2. this is posted elsewhere too.

What is the reason for turning the Tap tempo button off since it is a dedicated key?

i never use it and maybe i'm more clumsy than most, but i like having it switched to off so i don't hit it when i'm playing for an mc.
