Hi Again,

I'm just wondering how I jump to another SEQ in play mode without to press stop.

Now on the right corner is the MTC, in the akai O.S there was the "NEXT" function.

Thanks in advance.

what do you mean by 'play mode'? if you mean the main screen, then simply highlight the sequence when the mpc is playing, and move the data wheel.

Yes, I mean the main screen.

In the Akai O.S was a feature to select wich sequence should be played as next, as soon the actual has finished, this was located where now the MTC is located.

Is this feature still available in the JJOS v4.59?

yes, simply do as i said before the end of the current sequence, and select the sequence you would like to switch to, and when the current sequence ends, it'll switch to the selected one.

i've always ask for a seq + or seq - feature, it would improve the workflow nicely. however, it seems that i have no influence on JJ.

you'd need another two F-keys for that. mind you, you could have it on shift + f3/f4, that would be kinda cool.

I would like to have it as a p.mode function, would be great for live /jamming

edit: or the footswitch

With the Sequence field highlighted:
1. press the NUMERIC button
2. enter the sequence number from the pads
3. press NUMERIC button to start next sequence.
Next sequence plays after current sequence ends.

This is easy to get comfortable with and gives you more control when changing sequences

i agree with you Mr modnar. in fact, my use of that feature would be when i'm making manually the mix level in the main mode. as you have to deal with tr + tr - it would be nice if pressing shift you could also have seq + and seq -
it would avoid pressing up arrow and monving the data wheel.
But i guess maybe it's a too specific use that interests nobody.

Nice feature!!

I think it would be great to have a list with all these shortcuts.
