I have put so much work into my stuff and decided today to use the save all memory (all the seq, song, sample. ect. ) and pressed do it. All of a sudden my programs started deleteing so I quickly turned off the unit. Turned it back on and all my programs are gone...about 2 years of work. Please I need the guru to shead light on me!!!!! I beg you what can I do?

Absolutely nothing, I'm afraid.

Turning the unit off will delete anything that's in RAM.
Unless you made any other saves either to a CF card or the internal RAM storage, you've lost the lot.

What I don't understand is how you lost 2 years of material ? Have you not switched your MPC off for two whole years ??

Surely you must have made interim saves along the line somewhere ?

Is this your first time saving, period?

otherwise, save entire memore shouldn't be deleting anything thats already save. instead it REsaves all ur programs and samples into the folder of your choice.

but if you haven't turned ur shit off for 2 years... then it was stored in the ram and u lost it.. (how u fit 2 years of sound into the ram tho)

you know it was simply resaving over all the other files. if you had waited instead of being a paranoid tweeker, you would have noticed that after it says deletign files, it would have simpoly said saving files. have some **** patience man. might as well sell that mpc since you obviously don't know how to use your gear. never saving in two years. bullshit. you probably just got finished "skimming the manual" instead of reading it. lame ass. go get a playstation and use music generator and leave the real gear to people who know how to use it.
