Once the dust clears, what type of storage concoctions do u

use???

Ok I'm curious about other peoples storage set ups because these little bookcases are not going to cut it as the collection continues to grow...

please post up pictures of your set-up or even links to what you have, or plan on getting in the future etc....

I have been doing some research for some decently priced yet effective solutions so far the one at the top of my list is....

^^ They range from $79 up to the biggest sized being $179 PLUS only god knows how much to ship them (dont have a local ikea).....

after seeing that I ran up to home depot just to see what hard ware would cost me to build something of my own and well needless to say hard ware alone would cost me near the same and although it would be stronger it would be 10 times the pain in the ass and would take 10 times longer to get up and going and if I wont even save hardly anything doesnt make any sense....

so yea, what are some cheap solutions or some of your present lp storage set-ups looking like....they should have a thread for this like they have the "pictures of your studio" thread....just a branch off "pictures of your crate diggin colllection"

any how e'nuff with the yappin let's share some thoughts and ideas people....

I use the 72" IKEA Expedit bookshelf. I had beefed up the supports and turned it sideways to hold the weight of the records better. The Expedit is perfect for records.

yeah jukes rack is dope nice and tidy i wish i can get mine like that
but iget to many records a week.

lol nah but fa real man, that is something serious nuff props on that, looks like alot of blood, sweat, tears AND YEARS invested into that collection right there....you must be a proud father look at all those childrens lol

so what you think do you regret the purchase? you mentioned adding supports and turning the thing sideways n sh!t....you have any tips on what/where you used....

I honestly think for 179 (hopefully shipping is reasonable) if im lucky somewhere around 2 hundred bucks shipped wouldnt be to bad I guess...I just didnt want to get the thing and it fall apart....

keep em coming though by all means, I think its ill to see what everyone is working with....

i got a shop actually i run my friends shop but it's like it's mine he's never there,

my son is gettin it all sorry no buyers but, i am taking the dubs and trips that i got and goin to sell them soon,.......i know i keep saying that but really i have troubles parting and plus i bring home records all the time it's hard to get in the archives some times but i got a few boxes that i set a side that once it fills i will put them on line it's almost aq/4 full so dont worry.

yeah jukes shi+ is nice but thats an old pic come on juke iwant to see the recent one's i know you got to have at least double that since that pic was shot.

im curious brah, I kno u have a shop ot friends or whatever and obviously a very well developed collection, do you have any tips for the whole "buy and sell" market? Like how do you find values or worth of your records before you sell them??

Im just curious man because once I sift through my records I would love to sell some of my olders ones to make some room for new blood but at the same time I rather know the value so I dont end up just giving away valuable records for pennies on the dollar nah mean?
