I dont know cubase sx 2.0 but I do have nuendo 2.0 and from what I understand they are almost the same as far as GUI .
look for the tab in cubase sx 2.0 that says transport tab.
from there, scroll down to sync setup.
now,on the bottom right of this window you will see a small box called send midiclock.
now at this point if you installed the sound card correctly it should be in this box together with microsoft midimapper, choose your sound card midi with an X
click ok
now look at the transport bar right next to the record button, you will see SYNC(make sure it says SYNC INC)
now on the mpc ( I dont know about the 2000 but it looks to be the same)
press SHIFT (at the same time) 9 (midi/sync).
depending what port you have the sound cards midi cable connected to on your mpc ( where it says sync in) choose the corrisponding port.
and then where it says mode: move the big knob on the mpc till it says MIDI CLOCK.
from that point the mpc should follow cubase when you press play on in cubase sx

I just wanted to say thanks for the post. Ironically I was in need of this question being answered and it actually got me up and running. I also recommend getting the ASK VIDEO.
