Hi,
I currently own an mpc2000xl. I just found a good deal on a 60, an EPS and a Siel Mono...The guy says the floppy drive is dead on the 60. The thing is I gotta go pick it up and it's a real long drive...
What seems kinda strange is that somebody would sell a 60 with just a broken floppy drive. I mean, either way, if you take the trouble of reparing the floppy you could use it again or sell it for more money...
Just wondering if there are any known issues about mpc60's at this age. The machine looks in perfect condition on photo but do a lot of motherboards die or something? Any specific things I need to take into account and check before buying? Can I check a lot if the floppy drive isn't working? My biggest fear is stuff like motherboard. The rest could be repaired no?
Any thoughts advice on the matter would be appreciated...
