Problems with mpc 2000 OG

Does the mpc 2000 og support .wav files, and i heard you have to insert the os disc EVERY single time after that can i take out the os disc and put in my floppies with samples on em or will the i have to keep the os disc inserted at all times?

yes the classic supports wav files and the os disk only needs to be inserted at startup..

you need the 1.74 os for wav support . you have to boot from disc, then you can take it out. You only have to do this at startup.
