S950 and MPC60 v2.12

Just managed to buy my own MPC60 1 and its only got v2.12, just wondering if anyone could help me with getting the s950 to work with it.. I have the midi out plugged into the 60 from the s950 in and all the midi channel are both the 60 and s950 are on chanel 1. If anyone could help it would be greatly appeciated, also is there anyway to play the sample in mono..

I am trying to work out the same thing, surely someone knows right?

i don't know much about the 60, but on the s950 you can assign different keygroups to midi channels.
you can do it in the edit-program mode.
