memory

i just got my mpc today and i dont have any upgraded memory installed yet, I tried to load a drum kit i have into my mpc but when i try to load it in it says not enough memory and i deleted everything that was previously saved on it i think can anyone help me so i can just load my drum kit? thanks

How large this drum kit is ? If it exceeds 2 MB, then you have to do the upgrade.

To make sure that memory is empty, before you load anything new, restart the machine, or find PURGE function (manual) to get rid of all samples in mpc's memory.
