Use a different midi channel on your 4k for different instruments/programs on the fantom.

On the fantom make sure you have seperate midi channel numbers for seperate programs.

Is there like a multimode or something on the keyboard that you can turn on for multi-timbrality?

Multi-mode in fantom by hitting the mixer button. Then the screen will look like a mixer, hit F2 for part list...

No disrespectful but just about all you ask for it on pages 19 thru 25 in the users manual. Your questions sound alot like getting started so I moved it there. All mpcs sequencers are about the same just the 4k is a full sampler that separates it from the others. Now it doesn`t matter about money cuz many users on the board have a full setup too.

However it does matter that you take the time to read the info send to you and study the basics. That way you don`t get steamed when you were pointed in the right direction in the first place.

Besides where do you THINK the answers given to you came from in the first place???????? From the manual no one is going to read it for you.

Time to put in work. Enjoy your gear a few days or week later when you got a handle on it and we all can share tips.

Read the manual is no tip.
