1.23 Feature

I had some MIDI files that I got from EZdrummer which I wanted to load into the MPC. Previous to the latest OS they wouldnt load, but now they do.

I remember talking to Jahrome (I think) about it and I believe that MIDI files come in different formats - 0, 1 and 2. So could this be an accident or do Akai fix things without listing them in the Release Note PDFs'?

It could be either (or both, even), but what difference does it make as long as you ultimately got it to work...

no difference really. I just wondered if Akai might have changed anything else or if anyone noticed any other changes.

yeah, maybe it's always been like that. i'm sure that akai wouldn't forget to add it to the list of updates, if they, indeed, did correct the problem...

on another note, i don't think i've ever loaded (another) midi file to my MP, aside from the ones that i deal with, create, and save with my own projects. i guess it's time for me to read up.
