mpc on the way!!!

yo i just want to say what up and thanks to all of the mpc heads on here, i just decided to get the mpc 1000 thanks to all of yall. its on its way right now. i got it from vst!!! cant wait! and also i did a few searches about converting the mpc 2000 snd into wav. and came up empty does anyone know if thats possible? if so can someone put me in the right direction? yo thanks again!!! peace!!

my mpc1k plays snd

the mpc2000 (classic and xl) supports the .wav file format meaning you can do the conversion in the 2k (see save screen)
make sure to update your os on the 2k

yo thanks i sold my 2000 so theres no way i can do it in there? but you say i dnt need to convert them to the mpc.snd??? the 1000 accepts mpc.snd? but i know that windows xp dnt read mpc snd disk (cd rom drive) so whats the easiest way to get them in the 1000? yo thanks for the help!!

you can still STORE them on the pc, just not play them.

yo i just tried it on 3 diffrent computers and all it is saying is windows will no support this format. it wont bring up the files or nothing. maybe its not in the mpc.snd format? i just know it always worked in my mpc 2000 external cd rom drive. do any of you have an idea what it can be if so can you all help me? thanks and peace

man i dunno. sorry i cant help ya out. all i know is that i got SND files on my pc .. i cant play them, but when i bring them over to my mpc1k it works fine
