MPC2000(classic) with ASQ10?

Hi, i just found an asq in a garage sale.. I use 2 mpc2000's (classics not the xl's) with a pc as master-sequencer.. is there a way that i can use the asq10 as the sequencer and still use the mpc's as samplers? If yes: please explain to my how to set this up..

you got it reversed, you didnt do your research because if you did, youd know that asr-10's are horrible for sequencing, so dont waste your money if thats how youre gonna set it up

Reading is also a horrible item;-)

ASQ-10 is the Sequencer of a 60 and not a ASR-10.
And if the Mystic of this Sequencers is only half the truth,
it is worth to give them a chance in your setup.

To explain your how to setup my english is also to Horrible:-).

I dont know if the MPC has a LOCAL ON/OFF function,
otherwise you have to experiment with the sequence Track Setup.
(midi for Pad output to a midiout Device in your ASQ).

The Manual explain something in the SEQUECE TRACK SETUP Chapter.

I also have an asr-10 but that was not the Q. RTFMessage :D

i heard this is one of the illest sequencers

i cannot see how it would surpass the 2000 for sequencing capabilities, memory and stuff.

S**T~ ASQ-10 is my most wanted~~

With midi thru you would be able to use that thing. Yes, it's supposed to be the sequencer of the 60 but I don't have any clue if it's user friendly any more. All you have to do is to give it a chance and see how it's grooving...Let us know!
