mpc restart my New Computer?

hey fellas i just got a new hp comp. with 2gigs of ram and 300 of harddrive but for some reason everytime i press play on my mpc it makes my computer restart can anyone help. thanks

cubase / logic / ableton software updates. (hope you have official software otherwise you wont be able to update)

update all you software, and if its still happening you may have a hardware error. i actually do HP for a living so if all this dont werk, then i can get you to look in to some hardware logs on the HP boot partition. presuming you aint re-installed. pre installed OEM os?

hey man i updated cubase and reason and same thing. this is what happens i turn my computer on then i turn my mpc on and without me opening any software. i press play on mpc and crashes or restarts computer.

Hm...you didn't even tell us yet how you have your MPC connected to the PC....if at all

USB connection is it? If it is, check your USB drivers, or perhaps drivers for the soundcard?
