which os are you running?
only the newer os can use the burning function.
download the addendums to the manual from akai, there you´ll find the description of the new functions.
and please stop shouting... thank you!

You can burn your samples to CD...Even holding off the finalizing till you have a good collection on it.. So to burn a beat/song, you need to re-sample the entire beat/song, so it then becomes a (large) sample, then you can burn to CD .

i think im having the same problem and i dont quite understand the given solution. i usually use protools to track my shit, but my mac is on the fritz how do i take my beats directly off the 2500 and burn it to cd or even transfer it to a laptop (garageband). and if i need to resample my whole songs how should i do that, i just got the 2500, im new to it so if this sounds like a dumb question be easy wit the ridicule, i got it all figured out except this.

I just bought a MPC2500 and I have the same problem with burning. It seems that you can only burn samples and I want to burn a sequence. Please can someone explain to me what to do. How do I change the sequence into a sample? Thanks

SMH at these noobs / producers wannabes.

why spend a sh!tload of money on equipments when you don't even bother reading the manuals or researching the machine?

just resample your whole sequence through the main outs, then you can burn that audio track to CD. I don't have a 2500 and even I know that.
