hikkimori are you trying to use the transport buttons? If so I know there's a bit of a problem First get the reason update if you cant find it pm or get on msn messenger and im me [email protected] ill give you the update, next you need the akai patch. If that does not work Ill help you out more. I think what you need to do is go to start-allprograms-propellerhead-reason-documentation and read the pdf manuals; in them go to the midi section and see what numbered midi signal is the stop/rec/ff/fback then open uniquest that way you can assign the midi signal code to the button. I don't have an mpd but common sense tells me this much.

I have Reason 3.04. I DID NOT assign the transport buttons in Uniquest. If you have installed the Reason Remote Patch then once you open Reason, if you have 3.04, and go to edit- preferences-and midi controlers and keyboards and after the patch is installed Akai should be available as an option in the controler Name Brand section of this option the rest should be pretty self explanitory if you get that far. Here is the location for the Reason Remote Patch

Another questionis when did you get your MPD? Does it have an updated OS? If it doesn't then go to the above link and download that also.

Yup mate I did whole things you mentioned above (did firmware update by myself so I'm sure it is there) & it still don't reconize those damn buttons.. Thank you all for trying but I'm thinking about give up - I spend whole night trying to configure it corectly (reinstall whole Reason, patch, Uniquest.. all). I'm doomed

And btw - Uniquest SUCKS!
