Hi - new User

Just poking my head in to let everyone here know that I am, as well as a new member of this forum, the owner of a new MPC60 (OS3.10). (obviously it's not new, but new to me anyhow!)

Could not believe it when I saw it sitting in my local shop looking all lost, so I snapped it up and it is now living happily controlling everything in my studio - can't think I'll ever use Logic to create ever again!

This is simply the most logical, musical machine I have ever come across! I am in heaven!!!

Welcome to the fold. I'm glad there are people that feel as I do about this wonderful instrument.

The 60 was my first piece of Real Studio Equipment, and I can't see my self starting with anything else........... I wish you good tracks...1

Already making huge beats and B-lines on this thing! - simple .

One question though:

Do I need to use 720kb floppies to transfer from OSx/XP/win 98 to MPC60?

Have MPCeditor but no computer seems to like writing to disks that the MPC can read... Can anyone shed some light? Cheers

YOU NEED 720K DISKS!!!

Seriously. As far as computer transfer, Zips seem like the best way to go if you have the upgrade. If you don't, the MPC will not read Editor programs AFAIK.
