Not sure if this post is still hopping but if they made new drop in pads and didnt cost an arm and leg, id buy them for sure. 30% of my pads hardly work.

I just received an email from Nick at VST. So here's the good news...

Rich,

I just got word that most of the pad kit is in stock but Akai is
waiting for the last piece which is suppose to be in next week. I'll be
adding them to our web store as soon as possible and in the meantime we'll
be taking pre-orders. Akai will be selling them for $199, we'll be selling
them for $179, and we'll install them for an extra $35.

Feel free to let the forums know that the pads will be here soon and people
can order now.

Best Regards
Nicholas Lejeune

$200 is really f*cking expensive.

these things had better feel like silk pillows. and i'm talking incredible sensitivity & accurate velocity response & no double triggering. ...and they better make me breakfast in the morning, too.

even then, it's still expensive. no way i'm going to even think about ordering these things until i see some reviews first.

Yeah it can be done. Chances are unlikely that it would get us what we want.
Expect at least 2-3 years for anything to happen. You'll be lucky if you get a coupon in the end..... for real.

Here's all the info you need to know...

I know a couple people that got broken off pretty nice from class actions, but being that we've had this knowledge and hadn't taken this action yet, I'll retard my interest in the matter.

well good luck getting nowhere and waiting for nothing.
i'll be enjoying my pad kit while you continue to wait, and wait, and wait...

btw, this class action lawsuit idea has been brought up a long time ago, so grab yourself a late-pass.
