Another Reason question again beating a dead horse

hello guys here is the same question that has been postin all through out the forums im trying to connection my mpc 500 to my computer so i can use reason as a sound module currently i have an mpc 500 a edirol usb midi interface um-1ex and the oxygen 8 midi controller need help setting it up i have read the book back and forth looked at videos and even called akai itself for help which by the way told me to do the same thing i had already have done to try to hook it up any help would be gladly appericated maybe one of you guys can give me ur email and we can chat or a reply to this posting thanks agin for ur help

How much do you already know? Do you know how to hook up a keyboard to reson?

yeah i got the m audio oxygen 8 v.2 running through a usb cable

Mpc midi out --> oxygen midi in
Oxygen midi out --> midi interface in

Make one of the tracks on the mpc into a midi send channel, and make shure that reason is set to the same channel as the mpc midi send channel. Now you can play instruments in reason
