Hey Wutup everybody. I'm still a little new to the whole MPC thing. But I was talkin to someone a little while back and they told me that there is a way to record a sequence to PC and have all the tracks record individually into differen tracks on the PC.

What I mean is... say I'm using Adobe Audition as my recording program, I got an M-Audio sound card, How can I get it so that when I hit play from the MPC it records each of the seperate MPC tracks as seperate recorded tracks? Like the kicks are recorded in one channel, the snares in another, hi hats, etc etc. That way I can edit everything on the computer afterwards. If this makes any sense someone holler at me. Much respects

you're gonna need a computer interface with multiple ins. to accomodate the MPC, you'll need 10: 2 stereo outs + 8 individual outs.

You can also use MTC sync. Then you can record individual tracks one by one.

AA is a bit convoluted when it comes to sync, because it is not all located in one place... but it works well when you get there.

Actually AA is very easy, 1 step and your in sync mode. The question is which Auditions do you have? And if your sound card only has 2 ins (Left/Right) then you can record 2 instruments at a time. Which M Audio sound card do you have?

I have the M-Audio Audiophile USB. It has 2 RCA inputs and 2 RCA 1/4 inch inputs

Ok so Hook your midi cables up. Put the mpc midi in on MTC (Midi Time Code). Put your beat in song mode with 1 blank bar at the beginning (same tempo). Which Auditions do you have?

I'm sorry put the mpc on mtc out 30 frames. I have AA 1.5, but look in options and select smpte slave enable. Then hit play on the mpc. I have to go to work so if you replay i will hit you back in the morning when i get in.
