mpc 1000 help

just got my 1000 and am pretty new to this. i have been playing with some samples and drums. when i try to play the samples and drums at the same time they fade each other out.

info:
samples in wav form cut from song using Audacity

have original operating system( i have heard about better OS's)

have 128 internal mem upgrade

please help

I usually like to keep my samples and my drums on completely different programs, that way I don't run into this problem.

I don't remember exactly but there is another way to do this. Do a search maybe, but keeping them on seperate programs will fix it for sure.

i had a feeling that had something to do with it. i would like a little more help if possible. i figured out how to make a progam, but how do you play 2 programs together.

and another question. sometimes the playback is not what i played the mpc changes it.
