keep the roland and cop a v-fire from presonus. Then google reaper. download that and your good to go.

Unless, you plan on upgrading your computer ram, learning a whole new program and plan to two track with only 2 inputs. The mbox isnt worth it. Save up for a rrrreeeeaaallllyyyyy llllllooooonnnnngggg time, and cop a pro tools hd rig, but by then you'll realize the free program that you were told to download can do basically the same thing.

Aight dats whats up, But aint that v-fire compatable with equipment with r-bus and firewire connections cause if it is the 1880 dont have that so would it make sense to get an audio interface with a midi connection or what.......to give a better insite this is my setup MPC2000-Roland VM-3100 (not the pro) and Vs-1880 Im making the beat on my MPC and that is running out of that into my VM-3100 for mixing now I want to use the 1880 and my PC to record and master tracks now what I need to make that possible?

I traded that roland for the digi001, ya'll think that was cool?

hey homie yeah the digi001 one is great make sure u get a preamp
i have the digioo1 as well and have been using it for 4years
and its great with a preamp
but i just got me the m audio 410 cuz i wanted to us a more up to date version of protools
with the digi001 u stuck at 6.4
so if i was u ask urslef if u really need to have a more up to date version
but u is good with that one its great i had great recording out of it
just make sure u get a preamp and a good mic
i suggest the blue tube pre and the rode NT 1 mic
