mpc 2000 sensor pad

I have been wanting help on replacing my sensor pad on my 2000 anyone can explain how that works or have a tuturial on it i want to learn how to do it myself and save some money.

the sensor pad plugs into the mainboard. its a relatively easy fix. dont be scared and open up your 2000. once its open youll see what needs to be done. if you have basics mechanical abilities it wont be hard.

so i just pull the entire thing out of the board then stick it back in then solder? i really appreciated the help i just want to make sure.
