sup gods, anyone had this problem?

aight so check it ill assign a pad to my either one of my q link sliders and ill try and do my thang and it plays it with the slider the first time i hit the pad but after that it goes directly back to playing the original sample... i also cant record enything used with realtime on the slider into a track it just plays the original sample... i really love my machine cuz when it works i can get busy but im starting to regaurd my 1k as a peice a shit... half the pads dont work and shit is constantly **** up....
would replacing the pads and sliders fix this or is this an internal defect?or is this a setting problem?

First problem, Hit the "After" button above the slider.

Second Problem, Get the New Pads. (F*Ckin Wakai... )
