wusup yall, im having trouble loading enough sounds into the pads. it says only 4.6mb of wave is free, now is this beacuse i need to upgrade to 256 ram or can i delete some files to free up some space?

Its your space on the card/hard drive. RAM is only how much loaded samples/sounds the mpc can hold at one time. Hint: To see how much time you can hold go press mode:record:window. That should tell you how much you can hold. so no... it doesn seem like a ram issue at this point

this is wrong. the fact he said 4.6mb of WAVE free, meant he was looking at the indicator of how much room is left in the RAM.

@samturk990: you'd be advised to upgrade your ram, but before you do, check to see if autoload is on, as it may be the case that there are factory files being loaded on power on that are taking up room. bear in mind: you don't need the RAM upgrade (just look at what Es-K can do), but it is mighty helpful.
