I JUST BOUGHT MY MPC2000XL AND HAVE SOME QUESTIONS

1. HOW CAN I GET MY KEYBOARD TO PLAY THRU MY MPC2000XL.

I HAVE A FANTOM AND A TRITON IVE TRIED WITH THE MIDI CABLES BUT NOTHING PLAYS FROM OUT THE THE KEYBOARD IVE GOT THE KEYBOARD TO PLAY WHAT WAS IN THE DRUM MACHING BUT I NEED THE OPPOSITE OF THAT. I APPRECIATE IT.

Make sure you have audio out coming from everything you want to produce sound going into your mixer. Are you trying to use the pads to trigger sounds from the keyboards?

no im just trying to have it to where i can record my keyboard sounds into the mpc along with the samples i already have loaded in the mpc

Alright, so are you trying to record midi tracks into the mpc sequencer.? You gotta set up the midi channels to correspond onto the mpc track and the keyboard for each sound you want to play in the sequence. If you're trying to have all the sounds coming directly out of the mpc you have to sample them and that would just take up way too much ram when you could just midi track it out.
