midi problem

hi, i got the mpc2500 and korg tr .i connected everything right and the problem is that i can record my performance from keyboard but i cannot save it on my mpc and every time after i turn off the unit everything is lost.

u gotta save ur work on both machines. why would the 2500 save work on your TR?
