making sequencing go faster?

making sequencing go faster?

any tips on this? I feel Like it takes up too much time,
I guess the fastest way is to make mutes on diffrets parts of the beat on the fly

but i have a lot of details in my beats so i really need record the diffrences+breaks etc.

any help?

my advice to you. dont rush a beat. let it take however long it takes. you'll get the best results when you take your time.

as far as speeding up the sequencing process, i always thought it was the easiest part of the song. but when i do it, i go thru each sequence and either record over the track i want to change or erase different parts on different tracks until i get what i want. sometimes it takes me forever, sometimes it takes 10 minutes. depends on what your tryin to accomplish with that particular beat.

man dont rush creativity. let it do its thing. you'll thank yourself for being patient in the end.

yo smoove... youre monitors are on the floor? what kinda set up is that? i asume that is a sub-woofer.

yea thats my goofy sub. my speakers are not in the view. what kinda setup you got?

Lemme try to steer this thread back to your question. What exactly do you mean by "record the diffrences+breaks"? Are you talking about "drops" like cutting out drums or whatever for a piece of a bar?
