afternoon all,

so i just borrowed a crate of vinyl from a friend and it seems that there's
been some kinda liquid (water, or maybe something sugary) sitting in the
bottom of the crate for some time.

all the records are stuck together and mouldy. all cover art is damaged,
some records are damaged badly, most are ok.

what's good to clean stinky mould off with? i was thinking some diluted white
spirit (maybe methylated spirits?) and just a soft cloth.

let me know what you all think.

cheers

i use a 409 or alcohol ,

put it on a towel and rub gently on the cover , if the mold is bad dont ue it any more just toss it out or use another and save that cover ,

also use lysol to clean the inside of the cover spray it inside and let it dry before you use it again.
