These cards going on ebay for cheap. I just picked up a 4gb and a 6gb one. both for like $50bucks shipped. They should be here monday. I'll report back with info how it works out.

no problem, man... i bought an 8 GB one from the same seller as well just minutes before i posted... i'm assuming these will work just like the 5GBs. looking forward to it... that's a lot of space for the price.

i tried a kingston 4gb card. it worked, but strangely saving a lot of small files took much longer. so i went back to my 1gb card...
(it was with jj os1 v4.7x)

I recieved My 4gb and 6gb Seagate ST1 microdrives and tested in my MPC 1000 and 500. :D

THEY WORK in BOTH!!!! :shock:

MY MPC 500 is Killer now!! :twisted: :twisted:

just FYI... i popped the 8Gb microdrive into my MPC... formatted it... and it is currently reading as 7627MB of free space. this is too damn cool! i guess i'll let everyone know if it starts to fail or give me any errors... i've only had this a few minutes now... just wanted to share the news. :shock:
