Drum Kits Just Play Static

I recently got my mpc 1000 learning all about it and etc. but I hooked up my mp to usb to cpu and everything was fine the files transfer but they play static when i try to trigger them.


These kits are all .wav files and they work fine in fruity loops I was wondering what is the problem

they must not be the right kind of WAV files... they need to be 16 Bit, 44100Hz... i'm guessing maybe the ones you loaded are 8 bit or sumthin...

yea i was just bout to d/l a wav converter and do the sounds over see if that help
