Should I buy this mpc?

Should I buy a basic 2000xl with stock 2MB (no upgrade) and nothing else but a power cord for $600?

I do not mind on upgrading it myself, I will probably get the 32 MB of Ram upgrade immediately as well as zip- SCSI drive.....

If there is no warranty, I wouldn't go for the deal personally. It's always cheaper when you have something onboard already, like 8 outs or eb16, or even a card reader. Meaning - you would probably heave to spend more upgrading yourself.

i recently sold one of my mcd-xl's with 32mb and a 9gb internal hdd to one of the guy's on the forum here for $600. so i wouldnt go for it. look around for a better deal. and mine was like new.

keep lookin man, there's better units out there... got mine for 650, white, with the max memory, 8 outs, and an multicard reader, installed... b

yea u can find it cheaper if u look harder, but iunno. 600 is not bad either

Dude, thats the dude that offered to sell me his mpc 2000xl for $550!!!! I emailed him and asked him if he had a paypal account, he said no because someone hacked into it....I asked him details about the working condition of the mpc and he never answered them, he just kept on e-mailing me asking me if I wanted to buy it!!!! **** that guy Vito04!

VIto04 sounds shady to me!

He told me the same paypal story, that someone hacked into it, I was stupid and naive to pay him...,
